This historical building, constructed in 1926 after the Main Street fire, was originally a Chinese restaurant owned by Sun and Moy Kow. Later, it transformed into a cantina and dime-a-dance hall run by Joe Kum You and Joe Gung. It was common knowledge that some dancers were sporting girls plying their trade. Over the years, several owners held this 1926 building, but it eventually fell into disrepair. In 1978, the Andersson family purchased and renovated this structure. Locals believe that the spirits of prior residents, including the infamous Delta Boyz, still stand guard within this site. Dedicated by the New Helvetia Chapter #5 on June 18, 2005, it remains a significant part of the local history, celebrated by E Clampus Vitus.
